Battery diagnosis apparatus and battery diagnosis method

A battery diagnosis apparatus comprising:

• a processor configured to control a stimulation application device to intermittently apply a second electric stimulation that is greater than a first electric stimulation to a target cell during a state change period until an electrical state of the target cell, which is a battery cell to be diagnosed, changes from an initial state to a target state;
• and
• a communication unit configured to obtain current time series data representing a change history of a current of the target cell during the state change period and voltage time series data representing a change history of a full-cell voltage of the target cell during periods of rest between the intermittently applied second electric stimulation given in the state change period,
• wherein the processor is configured to:
• generate a measurement full-cell profile representing a correspondence between a capacity and the full-cell voltage of the target cell based on the current time series data and the voltage time series data, and
• estimate a negative electrode scale factor of the target cell by analyzing the measurement full-cell profile.
