Monitoring system for use with mobile communication device

A method for monitoring an environment for pathogens, comprising:

• detecting at least one analyte signature data and environment information from a sample related to an environment with a detector component coupled to a monitoring device, wherein the detector component is a removable and replaceable module;
• receiving energy wirelessly and supplying the received energy to the monitoring device and detector with a power source antenna;
• sensing conditions of the environment information that affect the sample detection analysis including air flow and temperature using a plurality of sensors coupled to the detector at a location near the sample;
• receiving energy wirelessly and supplying the received energy to the monitoring device and detector with a power source antenna;
• comparing a data pattern of the detected at least one analyte signature in the sample using a processor coupled to the monitoring device to determine a match to known analyte signature data patterns stored in a memory device;
• detecting a concentration of the at least one analyte signature data detected with the plurality of sensors coupled to the detector component;
• receiving the detected at least one analyte signature data and the environment information from the detector component to interpret one or more chemical constituent signatures of interest as an analytical determination of the environment with a mobile device coupled to the detector component;
• recording a detection location of the detector component at a time of detection of the at least one analyte signature data and the environment information with a location device coupled to the detector component;
• receiving data comprising the analytical determination of the environment and operating status of the detector component;
• recording the detected at least one analyte signature data and the environment information with a first memory device coupled to the detector component;
• transmitting the data pattern and the environment information using at least one communication device coupled to the detector component;
• transmitting wirelessly the recorded data to an associated receiver with at least one communication device coupled to the detector component;
• and
• receiving and processing the recorded data with the associated receiver;
• wherein the detector component and the communication circuitry are a printed component with electrodes that include graphene materials and wherein at least one detector component includes at least one nano sensor.

A method for monitoring an environment for pathogens, comprising:

• detecting at least one analyte signature data and environment information from a sample related to an environment with a detector component coupled to a monitoring device, wherein the detector component is a removable and replaceable module;
• sensing conditions of the environment information that affect the sample detection analysis including at least air flow and temperature using a plurality of sensors coupled to the detector at a location near the sample;
• receiving energy wirelessly and supplying the received energy to the monitoring device and detector with a power source antenna;
• comparing a data pattern of the detected at least one analyte signature in the sample using a processor coupled to the monitoring device to determine a match to known analyte signature data patterns and known analyte signature characteristics stored in a memory device;
• detecting a concentration of the at least one analyte signature data detected with the plurality of sensors coupled to the detector component;
• receiving the detected at least one analyte signature data and the environment information from the detector component to interpret one or more chemical constituent signatures of interest as an analytical determination of the environment with a mobile device coupled to the detector component;
• recording a detection location of the detector component at a time of detection of the at least one analyte signature data and the environment information with a location device coupled to the detector component;
• receiving data comprising the analytical determination of the environment and operating status of the detector component;
• recording the detected at least one analyte signature data and the environment information with a first memory device coupled to the detector component;
• transmitting the data pattern and the environment information using at least one communication device coupled to the detector component;
• transmitting wirelessly the recorded data to an associated receiver with at least one communication device coupled to the detector component;
• receiving and processing the recorded data with the associated receiver;
• wherein the detector component and the communication circuitry are a printed component with electrodes that include conductive materials for transmitting and receiving digital data and wherein at least one detector component includes at least one nano sensor and at least one impedimetric sensor.
