Abstract
A method includes measuring a temperature of a resistive element of a heater, determining an adjusted temperature of the heater based on the temperature and an operational resistance-temperature (R-T) curve that is based on a Curie temperature of the resistive element, and controlling a power output of the heater based on the adjusted temperature of the heater.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- measuring a temperature of a resistive element of a heater;
- determining an adjusted temperature of the heater based on the temperature and an operational resistance-temperature (R-T) curve that is based on a Curie temperature of the resistive element;
- and
- controlling a power output of the heater based on the adjusted temperature of the heater.

A method comprising:
- generating an operational resistance-temperature (R-T) curve of a heater based on a Curie temperature of a resistive element of the heater;
- measuring a temperature of the resistive element of the heater;
- determining an adjusted temperature of the heater based on the temperature and the operational R-T curve;
- and
- controlling a power output of the heater based on the adjusted temperature of the heater.
2 more elements
A system comprising:
- a controller configured to:
- measure a temperature of a resistive element of a heater;
- determine an adjusted temperature of the heater based on the temperature and an operational resistance-temperature (R-T) curve that is calibrated based on a Curie temperature of the resistive element;
- and
- control a power output of the heater based on the adjusted temperature of the heater.
