Abstract

Shot compositions and shotgun shells are described herein. Shot compositions comprising a plurality of shot pellets and a buffer are described, wherein the buffer comprises a plurality of pieces of plant material, such as walnut shell pieces. Shot compositions comprising a first plurality of shot pellets and a second plurality of shot pellets are also described, wherein the first plurality of shot pellets comprise tungsten and are smaller than the second plurality of shot pellets.
