Abstract

Provided is a dot sight. The dot sight includes a sight body, a first lens, a light source mechanism, and a battery mechanism, where the sight body is provided with a bottom and a side wall; and the bottom and the side wall enclose an optical channel open at two ends. During mounting, the bottom of the sight body is connected to a firearm body or a connecting base plate, and the light source mechanism and the battery mechanism are disposed on the side wall of the sight body except the bottom. This renders the bottom a small thickness, which is not larger than the height of centers of a rear sight and a front sight after the sight is mounted. Thus, the bottom of the sight avoids obstructing the mechanical sight mechanism, allowing the shooter to see the front sight through the optical channel on the sight body.

Dependent claims

A dot sight, comprising:

a sight body, a first lens, a light source mechanism, and a battery mechanism, wherein the sight body comprises a bottom and a side wall;
the bottom and the side wall enclose an optical channel;
the first lens is disposed in the optical channel;
the light source mechanism is disposed on the side wall, and is configured to emit light to the first lens to provide an aiming reference for a user;
the battery mechanism is disposed on the side wall, and is configured to be electrically connected to the light source mechanism to supply power to the light source mechanism;
the bottom of the sight body is connected to a firearm body through a fastener;
and a thickness of the bottom is less than or equal to 2.5 mm, allowing the user to observe a front sight through a rear sight and the optical channel after the sight body is mounted.
