Abstract
A gun magazine spacer insert. The inventive insert is placed proximate the forward wall of a magazine tube. The insert reduces excess space existing between the cartridges loaded in the magazine and the forward wall. The spacer preferably includes an upper portion that lies just forward of the nose of the penultimate cartridge, thereby preventing forward motion of the penultimate cartridge prior to the complete stripping of the top cartridge.
