Abstract
A modular return air device includes a body and a first air return configured to facilitate incoming air to enter the body, wherein the body has a grille and a damper. The modular return air device further includes one or more sensors configured to collect data regarding the incoming air and a second air return configured to facilitate the air to exit the body of the modular return air device.

- a body;
- a first air return configured to facilitate incoming air to enter the body, the body comprising a grille and a damper;
- one or more sensors configured to collect data regarding the incoming air;

- a second air return configured to facilitate the air to exit the body of the modular return air device.

- collecting data regarding the incoming airflow using one or more sensors of the modular return air device;
- monitoring the airflow using the collected data;
- controlling air within the room based at least in part on the monitored airflow.
