A construction block for a system-built house, the construction block comprising: a first composite structural support layer; a second composite structural support layer; and a thermal insulating layer sandwiched between the first composite structural support layer and the second composite structural support layer.

A construction block for a system-built house, the construction block comprising:
- a thermal insulating layer;
- a composite structural support layer adjacent the thermal insulating layer;
- an upper face and an underside face, wherein the upper face comprises at least one male portion and the underside face comprises at least one female portion, or the upper face comprises at least one female portion and the underside face comprises at least one male portion;
- and
- a first side face and a second side face, separated from the first side face along a length dimension of the construction block, wherein the first side face comprises at least one male portion and the second side face comprises at least one female portion, or the first side face comprises at least one female portion and the second side face comprises at least one male portion, wherein the male portion and female portion of the first and second side faces are configured to connect with a corresponding male portion or female portion of another construction block thereby restricting relative movement of the construction block and the other construction block along the depth dimension of the construction block.

A construction block for a system-built house, the construction block comprising:
- a thermal insulating layer;
- and
- a composite structural support layer, adjacent the thermal insulating layer, the composite structural support layer comprising a face and a plurality of channels defined in the face, wherein the plurality of channels are configured to support at least one conduit in the face, and are arranged in a grid.
A construction block for a system-built house, the construction block comprising:
- a first composite structural support layer, wherein the first composite structural support layer comprises a first face, a second face, a third face and at least one channel defined in the first face and extending from the second face to the third face;
- a second composite structural support layer;
- a thermal insulating layer sandwiched between the first composite structural support layer and the second composite structural support layer;
- and
- an upper face and an underside face, wherein:
- i) the upper face comprises at least one male portion and the underside face comprises at least one female portion, or
- ii) the upper face comprises at least one female portion and the underside face comprises at least one male portion,
- wherein the at least one male portion protrudes from the first composite structural support layer and the at least one female portion is recessed into the first composite structural support layer.
