Abstract
A prefabricated modular unit that includes a balcony, a living space, and part of an interior central corridor of a building. Assembly of a plurality of the prefabricated modular units allows the construction of said building. The prefabricated modular units comprise units configured to be installed underground.
Claims20
Prefabricated modular units to be assembled together into a multi-story building, a first one and a second one of the prefabricated modular units comprising:
- longitudinal structural beams;
- a horizontal slab spanning between the longitudinal structural beams;
- structural columns extending vertically between a bottom end about the horizontal slab to a top end;
- and
- anchor plates set at the bottom end and at the top end of the structural columns,
- wherein the anchor plates are configured to secure the prefabricated modular units to each other either with the prefabricated modular units stacked one over another or with the prefabricated modular units laid side-by-side.
