Deposition mask, method of manufacturing the same, method of manufacturing display panel using the same, and electronic device manufactured by using the same

A method of manufacturing a deposition mask, the method comprising:

• forming a membrane with a plurality of pixel openings on a front surface of a mask substrate;
• and
• forming a cell opening communicating with the pixel openings through the mask substrate by partially removing a portion of the mask substrate,
• wherein an inner side surface of the mask substrate defining the cell opening has a stripe-shaped surface profile extending in a thickness direction of the mask substrate.

An electronic device comprising a display panel,

• wherein the display panel comprises a backplane substrate and a plurality of light emitting layers formed by using a deposition mask on the backplane substrate,
• the deposition mask comprises:
• a mask substrate provided with a cell opening;
• and
• a membrane disposed on a front surface of the mask substrate and provided with a plurality of pixel openings communicating with the cell opening,
• wherein an inner side surface of the mask substrate defining the cell opening has a stripe-shaped surface profile extending in a thickness direction of the mask substrate, and
• the plurality of light emitting layers is formed by a deposition process which provides a vapor-phase light emitting material onto the backplane substrate through the cell opening and the plurality of pixel openings.
