Abstract
A genetically modified Bacillus subtilis strain has been transformed with an optimized vector, mainly for producing a D-psicose 3-epimerase.
Claims15
A genetically modified Bacillus subtilis strain wherein the alanine racemase alrA gene is inactivated, and having at least a further gene inactivation chosen among:
- the inactivation of the sporulation yfqD gene, and/or
- the inactivation of the erythromycin resistance EmR-comK gene cassette,
- and wherein said strain comprises a nucleic acid sequence coding for D-psicose 3-epimerase.
An isolated nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleic acid sequence coding for D-psicose 3-epimerase and a sequence comprising or consisting of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 or of SEQ ID NO:
- 2.
