Abstract
Soft surface cleaning compositions are disclosed that clean oxidizable stains without the use of peroxide or bleaching ingredients. The compositions utilize surfactants, solvents, and polymers to clean oxidizable stains as well as or better than peroxide or bleaching agents. The compositions also exhibit anti-soil redeposition properties due to the unique polymer content.
Claims15
A cleaning composition comprising (a) approximately 0.5% w/w to approximately 5% w/w anionic surfactant;
- (b) approximately 0.05% w/w to approximately 15% w/w of a nonionic alcohol alkoxylate surfactant;
- (c) approximately 0.5% w/w to approximately 10% w/w of a copolymer having a monomer having the structure:
- wherein R=an alkali metal, H, vinyl, a C1-C4 alkyl group, or combinations thereof, and R′=H, a C1-C4 alkyl group, or combinations thereof;
- (d) approximately 0.5% to approximately 15% w/w of a glycol ether;
- (e) approximately 0.5% w/w to approximately 10% w/w ethoxylated polyethylene imine;
- and (f) approximately 0.05% w/w to approximately 10% w/w of the composition of a water blend of (i) sodium carbonate, (ii) approximately 1% w/w to approximately 50% w/w of the water blend of monoterpene, (iii) approximately 1% w/w to approximately 50% w/w of the water blend of N,N′-dialkyl amides, and (iv) emulsifiers.
