Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition and a method for treating at least one glass surface, preferably the surface of a glass container such as a glass bottle. The present invention further concerns a substrate comprising least one layer obtained by treating at least one glass surface thereof with the composition according to the invention.
Claims20
A composition for treating at least one glass surface, comprising:
- a) at least one bis-silyl compound comprising at least one building block according to the following formula (A):
- wherein
- each Ra1 is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl group,
- polyether group and aryl group,
- each Ra2 is independently an alkanediyl group,
- Ra3 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl group and aryl group,
- m is an integer of from 0 to 3,
- n is an integer of from 0 to 3, and
- b) at least one gliding agent selected from the group consisting of wax, fatty acid and fatty acid ester.
