A method of treating or controlling an infestation of an animal by one or more parasites comprising administering to the animal an injectable pharmaceutical composition comprising particles of an isoxazoline compound wherein the particles having a volume weighted particle size distribution (d50) as measured by a static light scattering instrument of between 50 and 150 μm and with a thickness of greater than 10 μm, as measured by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and wherein the isoxazoline compound is fluralaner.
