Power-assisted stroller with rocking feature

A stroller comprising:

• a wheel;
• a motor assembly comprising a motor coupled to the wheel;
• and
• a pedal assembly coupled to the motor and the wheel, the pedal assembly being rotatable around a first axis and the motor being rotatable around a second axis that is different from the first axis;
• the pedal assembly comprising:
• a pedal lever;
• a first pin partially disposed in a first housing;
• a second pin partially disposed in a second housing;
• a spring coupled to the second housing and located adjacent to the second housing;
• and
• a rocking lifter coupled to the second housing, wherein the spring is configured to bias the second housing such that the second pin engages with a slot in the rocking lifter at the same position.

A method comprising:

• operating, by a control logic of stroller, a motor of the stroller in a first direction by a predefined number of degrees;
• determining, by the control logic, that the motor cannot be rotated in the first direction beyond the predefined number of degrees;
• operating, by the control logic, the motor in a second direction by the predefined number of degrees, the second direction being opposite the first direction;
• and
• operating, by the control logic, the motor the first direction and the second direction by a first number of degrees that is less than the predefined number of degrees.
