Abstract

An environmental control device includes: control target devices that include an acoustic device that provides sound within a vehicle cabin, a lighting device that provides lighting within the vehicle cabin, and a vehicle seat that is operable to change a seating posture of an occupant; a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor controls a vehicle cabin interior environment by controlling actuation of each of the control target devices, and when changing the seating posture of the occupant at the vehicle seat, the processor notifies the occupant of a start of changing of the seating posture by using at least the acoustic device.
