Abstract
A foil may provide a base foil of a decorative printed foil. The foil may be a thermoplastic foil. The foil may have a first main surface for carrying a decorative print, and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface. At least one of the first and the second main surfaces may be provided with embossments.

A foil for providing base foil of a decorative printed foil, the foil comprising:
- a first main surface for carrying a decorative print;
- and
- a second main surface opposite to the first main surface;
- wherein the foil is a plastic foil:
- wherein at least one of the first and the second main surfaces is provided with embossments.
