Abstract

An image forming device includes: a conveyance unit that holds and conveys an image forming medium on a conveyance surface; and an image forming unit that forms an image on the image forming medium conveyed by the conveyance unit, in which the image forming unit includes a plurality of head rows in each of which a plurality of image forming heads are arranged at intervals in a head arrangement direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction in which the image forming medium is conveyed by the conveyance unit, the plurality of head rows being provided at positions different in the conveyance direction, and air blowing units that are arranged between at least some of the plurality of image forming heads in the head arrangement direction in at least some of the plurality of head rows and blow air in the head arrangement direction.
