Abstract
A press forming apparatus including a first die, a second die extends inside the first die to press an object, a stripper disposed to face the first die and the second die so as to press the object, a connection part configured to connect the first die to the second die and provided with a compression member, and a punch disposable inside the second die to press the object. In use the second die presses the object after the object is compressed between the first die and the stripper. A method of forming that uses the press forming apparatus where the first die and the stripper fix the object and the second die ascends to press the object is provided.
Claims11
A forming apparatus comprising:
- a first die;
- a second die at least partially disposed inside the first die, the second die is configured to press an object;
- a stripper disposed to face the first die and the second die, the stripper and the first die are configured to compress the object;
- a connection part configured to connect the first die to the second die and provided with a compression member;
- and
- a punch configured to be disposed inside the second die while pressing the object,
- wherein the second die is configured to press the object after the object is compressed by the first die and the stripper.
A forming method comprising:
- fixing an object between a stripper and a first die;
- ascending a second die to press the object by the stripper and a punch, wherein the second die is connected to the first die;
- and
- further ascending the second die to additionally press the object by a pressing part of the second die and the punch,
- wherein the pressing part is at least partially disposed inside the first die,
- the punch is configured to be disposed inside the pressing part, and
- the first die and the second die are connected to each other by a connection part having a compression member.
