Abstract
The present invention provides a coolant system comprising a separation device and a storage device. The storage device comprises: a storage container which is disposed on a foundation and in which machining debris is stored; and a cover to which the separation device is connected and which covers an opening in the storage container.

A coolant system that separates swarf generated by machining of a machine tool, from a first liquid that is a liquid containing the swarf, and supplies, to the machine tool, a second liquid that is the liquid from which the swarf has been separated, the coolant system comprising:
- a separation device configured to separate, from the first liquid pumped up from a first liquid tank configured to store the first liquid, the swarf contained in the first liquid;
- and
- a storage device configured to store the swarf separated by the separation device,
- wherein the storage device includes:
- a storage container disposed on a base and configured to store the swarf;
- and
- a cover to which the separation device is connected, the cover being configured to cover an opening portion of the storage container.
