Production method for press formed product

A production method for a press formed product, comprising:

• sandwiching a blank between a die and a blank holder;
• and
• pushing the blank by a punch in a press direction,
• wherein when viewed in the press direction,
• an edge of the die on a side of the punch includes a die edge projecting portion that projects toward the punch,
• the die edge projecting portion includes a die edge curved portion that is curved to project toward the punch and extends with a radius of curvature of 400 mm or less,
• an edge of the blank includes a blank edge curved portion that is curved to be recessed toward the punch and extends with a radius of curvature of 400 mm or less,
• a distance between the blank edge curved portion and the edge of the die on a perpendicular to an extending direction of the edge of the die differs between one end portion and another end portion of the blank edge curved portion,
• the blank holder sandwiches a part of the edge of the blank between the blank holder and the die,
• an edge of the blank holder on a side of the punch has a shape projecting toward the edge of the die, and a distance between the edge of the die and the edge of the blank holder on the perpendicular to the extending direction of the edge of the die varies along the edge of the blank holder, and
• a distance between the edge of the blank holder and the edge of the blank sandwiched between the blank holder and the die on a perpendicular to an extending direction of the edge of the blank varies along the edge of the blank, and the distance is greatest in the blank edge curved portion.
