A prize-acquisition game device comprising:

• a casing that houses prizes;
• first and second prize catchers that are respectively disposed in a left-side first play area and a right-side second play area adjacent in a lateral direction within the casing and that acquire the housed prizes;
• a position detector that detects at least one of a right end position of the first play area and a left end position of the second play area;
• a central processing unit (CPU) that sets a boundary position between the first play area and the second play area based on at least one of the right end position and the left end position;
• and
• an illumination device that emits light to a first light-emitting area corresponding to the first play area and a second light-emitting area corresponding to the second play area, and change the first light-emitting area and the second light-emitting area depending on the set boundary position.

A prize-acquisition game device comprising:

• a casing that houses prizes;
• first and second prize catchers that are respectively disposed in a left-side first play area and a right-side second play area adjacent in a lateral direction within the casing and that acquire the housed prizes;
• a position detector that detects a position of a partition plate disposed between the first play area and the second play area;
• a central processing unit (CPU) that sets a boundary position between the first play area and the second play area based on the position of the partition plate;
• and
• an illumination device that emits light to a first light-emitting area corresponding to the first play area and a second light-emitting area corresponding to the second play area, and changes the first light-emitting area and the second light-emitting area depending on the set boundary position.

A prize-acquisition game device comprising:

• a casing that houses prizes;
• first and second prize catchers that are respectively disposed in a left-side first play area and a right-side second play area adjacent in a lateral direction within the casing and that acquire the housed prizes;
• a position detector that detects at least one of a rightward movement limit position of the first prize catcher in the first play area and a leftward movement limit position of the second prize catchers in the second play area;
• a central processing unit (CPU) that sets a boundary position between the first play area and the second play area based on at least one of the movement limit positions of the first play area and the second play area;
• and
• an illumination device that emits light to a first light-emitting area corresponding to the first play area and a second light-emitting area corresponding to the second play area, and changes the first light-emitting area and the second light-emitting area depending on the set boundary position.
