Abstract
The invention concerns skiing on a single ski (5) with both feet in line on the ski (5) and provides an inclined wedge (1) on the ski positional to support the hind foot of the skier without needing it to be flat on the surface of the ski (5).

A wedge shaped component, wherein the wedge shaped component is configured to be detachably provided on an upper side of a ski towards a rear end of the ski with an upward slope provided by the wedge shaped component directed towards the rear end of the ski whereby a hind foot of a skier can be placed against the upward slope of the wedge shaped component while skiing on one ski.
