Abstract
A colostrum collection device includes a lower funnel-shaped component and an upper bulb component integrated with the lower funnel-shaped component. The colostrum collection device also includes a cap for sealing the lower funnel-shaped component. The colostrum collection device may be attachable to a T-shaped adapter.

A colostrum collection device, comprising:
- a lower funnel-shaped component;
- an upper bulb component integrated with the lower funnel-shaped component;
- and
- a cap for sealing the lower funnel-shaped component, the colostrum collection device being attachable to a T-shaped adapter.

- a breast pump;
- a flange configured to form a seal against a user's breast;
- a T-shaped adapter comprising a horizontal portion and a perpendicular vertical portion;
- a colostrum collector attachable to the vertical portion of the adapter, the collector comprising a lower funnel-shaped body, an upper bulb component, and a tethered cap.

A method for collecting colostrum using a colostrum collection device, comprising:
- attaching a flange to one end of a horizontal portion of an adapter;
- attaching a breast pump to an opposite end of the horizontal portion;
- connecting a colostrum collector to a vertical portion of the adapter;
- placing the flange against a user's breast to form a seal;
- and
- activating the breast pump to generate suction, such that colostrum is expressed from the user's breast into the flange, and the expressed colostrum is diverted through the adapter into the colostrum collector via the vertical portion.
