A method of treating cancer in a subject in need thereof comprising administering to the subject a Nicotinamide Phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) inhibitor.
A method of diagnosing a cancer in a subject comprising detecting the presence of Y188 tyrosine phosphorylation of Nicotinamide Phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) in a cell obtained from the subject.
A method of treating diabetes, obesity, or a neurodegenerative disease in a subject in need thereof comprising administering to the subject a Nicotinamide Phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) activator.
