Abstract
The present disclosure relates to methods of treating metabolic conditions by administrating 5-methoxy-2-aminoindan, or a salt thereof, to a subject in need thereof in a therapeutically effective amount. The disclosure also relates to methods for treating metabolic conditions by administering 5-methoxy-2-aminoindan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and an N-acylethanolamine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, to a subject in need thereof in a therapeutically effective amount.

A method for treating a metabolic condition in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically acceptable amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising 5-methoxy-2-aminoindan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the treatment reduces one or more metabolic syndromes in the subject.
A method for treating a metabolic condition in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically acceptable amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising 5-methoxy-2-aminoindan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising an N-acylethanolamine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the treatment reduces one or more metabolic syndromes in the subject.
