Abstract
The present disclosure provides a graphical user interface (GUI) arranged to convey information related to the IVUS images and calcium fracture detected in a vessel represented in the IVUS images. The GUIs can be generated to include a cross-section view and a longitudinal view of the vessel and an indication of locations of calcium fracture relative to a frame depicted in the cross-sectional view.
Claims20
A vascular imaging system, comprising:
- a display;
- a processor coupled to the display;
- and
- a memory coupled to the processor, the memory comprising instructions executable by the processor, which instructions when executed cause the processor to:
- receive a series of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) images of a vessel of a patient, the series of IVUS images comprising a plurality of frames;
- detect calcium fracture from the series of IVUS images;
- generate a graphical component comprising an indication of the calcium fracture relative to the series of IVUS images;
- generate a GUI comprising a cross-sectional view of a frame of the series of IVUS images and the graphical component showing the calcium fracture relative to the frame;
- and
- render the GUI for display on the display.
At least one machine readable storage device, comprising a plurality of instructions that in response to being executed by a processor of a vascular imaging system cause the processor to:
- receive a series of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) images of a vessel of a patient, the series of IVUS images comprising a plurality of frames;
- detect calcium fracture from the series of IVUS images;
- generate a graphical component comprising an indication of the calcium fracture relative to the series of IVUS images;
- generate a GUI comprising a cross-sectional view of a frame of the series of IVUS images and the graphical component showing the calcium fracture relative to the frame;
- and
- render the GUI for display on the display.
A method, comprising:
- receiving a series of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) images of a vessel of a patient, the series of IVUS images comprising a plurality of frames;
- detecting calcium fracture from the series of IVUS images;
- generating a graphical component comprising an indication of the calcium fracture relative to the series of IVUS images;
- generating a GUI comprising a cross-sectional view of a frame of the series of IVUS images and the graphical component showing the calcium fracture relative to the frame;
- and
- rendering the GUI for display on a display.
