A cap holder for wall-hung support of a baseball cap features a typically flat base with a rear face placed against the wall, and an opposing and typically ornamented front face. A separate catch loop is attachable to the base in a working position protruding from the front face to hold the baseball cap in a suspended position. A catch opening of the catch loop is tapered up to a distal end thereof, and an inside edge of the catch loop is tapered in thickness in an inward direction. The combined tapers frictionally wedge the inside edge of the catch loop beneath a top button of the baseball cap under user-lifting and sliding of the top button up into the catch opening and into engagement with the distal end. The loop angles downwardly to gravitationally encourage engagement. As separate components, the base is printable with ornamentation prior to assembly.
