Abstract
A tripod support device includes a pivot seat unit, three support rods, each pivotably extending through the pivot seat unit at a pivot portion to terminate at upper and lower end portions. The upper end portions cooperatively define a carrying surface when the support rods is in an unfolded state. A synchronizing seat is disposed among the support rods and movable relative to the pivot seat unit along a central axis, and has a hub and three linking protrusions. Three lower linking bars are pivotably connected with the linking protrusions and lower pivot portions of the support rods to turn the support rods during movement of the synchronizing seat. In the unfolded state, the lengthwise axis of each lower linking bar is offset from the central axis.
Claims13
A tripod support device, comprising:
- a pivot seat unit defining a central axis;
- a support unit pivotably connected with said pivot seat unit, said support unit including at least three support rods, each of which pivotably extends through said pivot seat unit to terminate at an upper end portion and a lower end portion opposite to each other, and which are angularly spaced apart from one another about the central axis, each of said support rods having a pivot portion which is pivotably engaged with said pivot seat unit and interposed between said upper end portion and said lower end portion, and a lower pivoting portion which is interposed between said pivot portion and said lower end portion, wherein said upper end portions and said lower end portions of said support rods are turnable between a folded state, where said upper end portions and said lower end portions are close to the central axis, and an unfolded state where said upper end portions and said lower end portions are remote from the central axis, and said upper end portions cooperatively define a carrying surface in the unfolded state;
- and
- an operation synchronizing mechanism including a synchronizing seat which is disposed among said support rods and movable relative to said pivot seat unit along the central axis, and at least three lower linking bars, said synchronizing seat having a hub and at least three linking protrusions which protrude from said hub and are angularly spaced apart from one another about the central axis, each of said lower linking bars having a first linking end which is pivotably connected with a respective one of said linking protrusions, and a second linking end which is opposite to said first linking end along a lengthwise axis and pivotably connected with said lower pivoting portion of a respective one of said support rods, wherein, during movement of said synchronizing seat along the central axis relative to said pivot seat unit, said upper end portions and said lower end portions of said support rods are brought by said lower linking bars to be turned between the folded state and the unfolded state, and wherein, in the unfolded state, the lengthwise axis of each of said lower linking bars is offset from the central axis.
