Abstract

Disclosed is a hair care appliance for styling a user's hair. The hair care appliance has a main body housing, a drive motor, and an airflow generator. A sensor arrangement can sense a hair parameter of a user's hair and an ambient parameter of an ambient operating environment. The hair care appliance has an attachment that can be attached to, and removed from, the main body; it has an air inlet for receiving airflow from the airflow generator, an air outlet for emitting the airflow, and a movable member releasably connected to the drive motor. A controller can control the drive motor to move the movable member between a first configuration for interacting with a user's hair and a second, different, configuration for interacting with a user's hair, in response to the one or more of the hair parameter and the ambient parameter.

Dependent claims

A hair care appliance for styling a user's hair, the hair care appliance comprising:

a main body housing a drive motor and an airflow generator;
a sensor arrangement for sensing one or more of a hair parameter of a user's hair and an ambient parameter of an ambient environment of the haircare appliance;
an attachment releasably attached to the main body the attachment comprising:
an air inlet for receiving airflow from the airflow generator,
an air outlet for emitting the airflow, and
a movable member releasably connected to the drive motor;
and
a controller configured to control the drive motor to move the movable member between a first configuration for interacting with a user's hair and a second, different, configuration for interacting with a user's hair, in response to the one or more of the hair parameter and the ambient parameter.
