Abstract
An aerosol-generating system is provided, including: an aerosol-generating device configured to generate an aerosol from an aerosol-forming substrate; an image acquisition sensor configured to capture at least one image of a user of the aerosol-generating device; an acoustic sensor configured to detect a sound generated based on a respiration of the user; and at least one processor configured to control, based on the at least one image of the user and the detected sound, at least one of: an access of the user to the aerosol-generating device, an amount of a substance generated from the aerosol-forming substrate, and an amount aerosol generated from the aerosol-forming substrate.

An aerosol-generating system, comprising:
- an aerosol-generating device configured to generate an aerosol from an aerosol-forming substrate;
- an image acquisition sensor configured to capture at least one image of a user of the aerosol-generating device;
- an acoustic sensor configured to detect a sound generated based on a respiration of the user;
- and
- at least one processor configured to control, based on the at least one image of the user and the detected sound, at least one of:
- an access of the user to the aerosol-generating device,
- an amount of a substance generated from the aerosol-forming substrate, and
- an amount aerosol generated from the aerosol-forming substrate.
A method, comprising:
- capturing, by an image acquisition sensor, at least one image of a user;
- detecting, by an acoustic sensor, a sound generated based on a respiration of the user;
- and
- controlling, based on the at least one image of the user and the detected sound, at least one of:
- an access of the user to an aerosol-generating device,
- an amount of a substance generated from an aerosol-forming substrate, and
- an amount of aerosol generated from an aerosol-forming substrate.
