Abstract
A tree stand includes a platform, a post pivotably connected to the platform, a leveling tab extending from the post, and a shelf tab extending from the post. The post is pivotable between an upright position relative to the platform and a folded position along the platform. The seat is pivotably connected to the post and is pivotable between a seat position projecting from a first side of the post and a shelf position projecting from a second side of the post opposite the first side. The seat is supported from below by the leveling tab in the seat position and vertically hangs from the shelf tab in the shelf position.

A tree stand comprising:
- a platform;
- a post pivotably connected to the platform, the post being pivotable between an upright position relative to the platform and a folded position along the platform;
- a leveling tab extending from the post;
- a shelf tab extending from the post;
- and
- a seat pivotably connected to the post, the seat being pivotable between a seat position projecting from a first side of the post and a shelf position projecting from a second side of the post opposite the first side,
- wherein the seat is supported from below by the leveling tab in the seat position and vertically hangs from the shelf tab in the shelf position.
