Abstract
A cat litter comprising an absorbent material and at least one tabletted probiotic containing least one probiotic and at least one non-hygroscopic binder. The cat litter absorbent material can be granulated sodium bentonite and the tabletted probiotic contains crystalline lactose as the non-hygroscopic binder in an amount of greater than 40 wt. % in the granulated probiotic.

A cat litter comprising at least one solid water-absorbent material and at least one tabletted probiotic, wherein the at least one tabletted probiotic comprises at least one probiotic and at least one non-hygroscopic binder.
A method of making a cat litter containing a tabletted probiotic comprising tabletting at least one probiotic and at least one non-hygroscopic binder;
- and combining with at least one water-absorbent material to form the cat litter.
