The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. The present disclosure relates to methods performed respectively by a first node and a second node in a wireless communication system and wireless communication devices. A method of a first node in a wireless communication system comprises: generating first physical layer data, wherein the first physical layer data includes first physical layer data unit with a first number of repetitions; generating, based on the first physical layer data, second physical layer data, wherein the second physical layer data includes the first physical layer data with a second number of repetitions; and transmitting the second physical layer data.
