Abstract
A method and a user equipment (UE) served by a serving node in a Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) are provided. In the method, a measurement configuration is received, and one or more target SSB measurement timing configurations (SMTCs) from multiple SMTCs are selected. The measurement configuration includes the multiple SMTCs.

A method, used by a User Equipment (UE) served by a serving node in a Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN), the method comprising:
- receiving a measurement configuration, wherein the measurement configuration comprises a plurality of SSB Measurement Timing Configurations (SMTCs);
- and
- selecting at least one target SMTC from the plurality of SMTCs for measurements of cells of the NTN.
A user equipment (UE), served by a serving node in a Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN), the UE comprising:
- a transceiver;
- and
- a processor, coupled to the transceiver, and configured to perform:
- receiving, through the transceiver, a measurement configuration, wherein the measurement configuration comprises a plurality of SSB Measurement Timing Configurations (SMTCs);
- and
- selecting at least one target SMTC from the plurality of SMTCs for measurements of cells of the NTN.
