Abstract
A relay communication processing method, performed by a user equipment (UE), includes: receiving a security indicator associated with a relay service code (RSC) sent by a first network element; and determining, based on the security indicator, a security procedure for establishing a UE to UE (U2U) link under the RSC. A relay communication processing method performed by a network element includes determining a security procedure associated with a relay service code (RSC) for establishing a user equipment (UE) to UE (U2U) link; and sending a security indicator associated with the RSC to a UE according to the security procedure.

A relay communication processing method, performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving a security indicator associated with a relay service code (RSC) sent by a first network element;
- and
- determining, based on the security indicator, a security procedure for establishing a UE to UE (U2U) link under the RSC.
A relay communication processing method, performed by a first network element, comprising:
- determining a security procedure associated with a relay service code (RSC) for establishing a user equipment (UE) to UE (U2U) link;
- and
- sending a security indicator associated with the RSC to a UE according to the security procedure.

A communication apparatus, comprising a memory for storing a computer program and a processor, wherein when the computer program stored in the memory is executed by the processor, the processor is configured to perform:
- receiving a security indicator associated with a relay service code (RSC) sent by a first network element;
- and
- determining, based on the security indicator, a security procedure for establishing a UE to UE (U2U) link under the RSC.
