Abstract

An information processing method. The method may be applied to, for example, a target apparatus. The target apparatus may obtain a BGP message, where an address family of the BGP message is a BGP LS address family, the BGP message includes indication information, and the indication information indicates a link type of a link between a first point of presence (POP) in an SD-WAN network and a second POP in the SD-WAN network. In this solution, the BGP message of the LS address family may be used to carry the type of the link between the POPs, to facilitate subsequent service path orchestration for a service based on the type of the link between the POPs, so that service requirements are met.

An information processing method, comprising:

obtaining a border gateway protocol (BGP) message, wherein the BGP message comprises indication information, the indication information indicates a link type of a link between a first point of presence (POP) and a second POP, and an address family of the BGP message is a BGP link state (LS) address family.
