Abstract
An electrode assembly includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a separator between the first electrode and the second electrode, a first electrode substrate tab connected to the first electrode, and a second electrode substrate tab connected to the second electrode, wherein the first electrode, the second electrode, and the separator have a stack structure in one direction, wherein the first electrode substrate tab includes a first substrate protruding from the first electrode in a first direction crossing a stacking direction of the stack structure and a second substrate protruding from the first electrode in a second direction crossing the stacking direction, and wherein the first direction and the second direction differ from each other.
Claims20
An electrode assembly, comprising:
- a first electrode;
- a second electrode;
- a separator between the first electrode and the second electrode;
- a first electrode substrate tab connected to the first electrode;
- and
- a second electrode substrate tab connected to the second electrode,
- wherein the first electrode, the second electrode, and the separator have a stack structure in one direction,
- wherein the first electrode substrate tab comprises a first substrate protruding from the first electrode in a first direction crossing a stacking direction of the stack structure and a second substrate protruding from the first electrode in a second direction crossing the stacking direction, and
- wherein the first direction and the second direction differ from each other.
A secondary battery, comprising:
- an electrode assembly;
- a case accommodating the electrode assembly;
- and
- a cap assembly sealing an open surface of the case,
- wherein the electrode assembly comprises:
- a first electrode;
- a second electrode;
- a separator between the first electrode and the second electrode;
- a first electrode substrate tab connected to the first electrode;
- and
- a second electrode substrate tab connected to the second electrode,
- wherein the first electrode, the second electrode, and the separator have a stack structure in one direction,
- wherein the first electrode substrate tab comprises a first substrate protruding from the first electrode in a first direction crossing a stacking direction of the stack structure and a second substrate protruding from the first electrode in a second direction crossing the stacking direction, and
- wherein the first direction and the second direction differ from each other.
