A secondary battery comprising:
- an electrode assembly comprising:
- a first electrode;
- a second electrode;
- and
- a separator interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode;
- a case accommodating the electrode assembly therein, the case having an opened surface;
- a cap plate sealing the opened surface of the case;
- a sensor connection portion located on the cap plate, the sensor connection portion configured to be connected to an external gas pressure measurement sensor;
- and
- a vent portion located inside the sensor connection portion.
A gas pressure evaluation system for a secondary battery, comprising:
- a secondary battery;
- a charger-discharger configured to charge and discharge the secondary battery;
- and
- a gas pressure measurement sensor configured to measure a gas pressure of the secondary battery from outside of the secondary battery,
- wherein the secondary battery comprises:
- an electrode assembly comprising:
- a first electrode;
- a second electrode;
- and
- a separator interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode;
- a case accommodating the electrode assembly therein, the case having an opened surface;
- a cap plate sealing the opened surface of the case;
- a sensor connection portion located on the cap plate, the sensor connection portion configured to be connected to the gas pressure measurement sensor;
- and
- a vent portion located inside the sensor connection portion.
