Abstract
A sulfide solid electrolyte containing: a crystalline phase and a glass phase, in which the glass phase includes a phase including a sulfide glass which contains Li, P, and S as constituent elements, the crystalline phase includes a high-ion-conductive crystalline phase derived from the sulfide glass and a β-Li3PS4 crystalline phase, compositions of the phase including the sulfide glass and the high-ion-conductive crystalline phase satisfy Li: 30 at % to 50 at %, P: 5 at % to 15 at %, and S: 30 at % to 60 at %, and a content ratio of the β-Li3PS4 crystalline phase in the sulfide solid electrolyte is 0.1 mass % to 30 mass %.
Claims9
A sulfide solid electrolyte comprising:
- a crystalline phase and a glass phase, wherein
- the glass phase comprises a phase comprising a sulfide glass which comprises Li, P, and S as constituent elements,
- the crystalline phase comprises a high-ion-conductive crystalline phase derived from the sulfide glass and a β-Li3PS4 crystalline phase,
- compositions of the phase comprising the sulfide glass and the high-ion-conductive crystalline phase satisfy Li:
- 30 at % to 50 at %, P:
- 5 at % to 15 at %, and S:
- 30 at % to 60 at %, and
- a content ratio of the β-Li3PS4 crystalline phase in the sulfide solid electrolyte is 0.1 mass % to 30 mass %.
A method for producing a sulfide solid electrolyte comprising a crystalline phase and a glass phase, the method comprising in order:
- mixing raw materials to obtain a raw material mixture comprising Li, P, and S;
- heating the raw material mixture to obtain a melt;
- cooling and solidifying the melt to obtain a sulfide solid electrolyte precursor comprising a glass phase and a β-Li3PS4 crystalline phase;
- and
- heating the sulfide solid electrolyte precursor to obtain a high-ion-conductive crystalline phase obtained by crystallizing a part of the glass phase, wherein
- the heating for obtaining the melt and the cooling and solidifying are performed under an ambient pressure condition, and
- in the cooling and solidifying, a molten liquid which is the melt is allowed to flow out and then allowed to stay in a temperature range of 750° C. to 210° C. for 0.2 seconds to 100 seconds.
