Abstract
A lithium secondary battery includes: a wound electrode group having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; a core member disposed in a hollow of the electrode group; and a nonaqueous electrolyte having lithium ion conductivity. At the negative electrode, lithium metal deposits during charging, and the lithium metal dissolves during discharging. The core member has a hollow tubular shape, and has a slit extending in an axial direction, with both end portions in a circumferential direction that regulate the slit being misaligned without abutting each other.
Claims11
A lithium secondary battery, comprising:
- a wound electrode group having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode;
- a core member disposed in a hollow of the electrode group;
- and
- a nonaqueous electrolyte having lithium ion conductivity, wherein
- at the negative electrode, lithium metal deposits during charging, and the lithium metal dissolves during discharging, and
- the core member has a hollow tubular shape, and has a slit extending in an axial direction, with both end portions in a circumferential direction that regulate the slit being misaligned without abutting each other.
