Abstract
An electronic percussion instrument according to the disclosure includes: a striking surface frame that is swingably supported by a stand and has an upper surface side serving as a striking surface; an edge frame that is connected along a circumferential direction to a lower surface of an outer edge side of the striking surface frame; and an edge sensor that is mounted to the edge frame and detects vibration of the edge frame, in which the edge frame includes a struck portion that rises upward from an outer edge of the edge frame and constitutes an edge part of the striking surface.

An electronic percussion instrument, comprising:
- a striking surface frame that is swingably supported by a stand and has an upper surface side serving as a striking surface;
- an edge frame that is connected along a circumferential direction to a lower surface of an outer edge side of the striking surface frame;
- and
- an edge sensor that is mounted to the edge frame and detects vibration of the edge frame,
- wherein the edge frame comprises a struck portion that rises upward from an outer edge of the edge frame and constitutes an edge part of the striking surface.
A mounting method of a sensor in an electronic percussion instrument, which comprises a striking surface frame that is swingably supported by a stand and has an upper surface side serving as a striking surface, and an edge frame that is connected along a circumferential direction to a lower surface of an outer edge side of the striking surface frame, the mounting method comprising:
- forming on the edge frame a struck portion that rises upward from an outer edge of the edge frame and constitutes an edge part of the striking surface;
- and
- mounting an edge sensor that detects vibration of the edge frame to the edge frame.
