An electronic percussion instrument, comprising:
- a striking surface frame comprising a bell portion that forms a central side part of a striking surface, a bow portion that is formed in an annular shape surrounding the bell portion and forms an outer peripheral side part of the striking surface, and a connecting portion that is made of an elastic body and connecting an inner edge side part of the bow portion to the bell portion;
- a sensor frame connected along a circumferential direction to a lower surface of the bell portion or the bow portion of the striking surface frame;
- and
- a sensor mounted to the sensor frame and detecting vibration of the sensor frame.
A mounting method of a sensor in an electronic percussion instrument, which comprises a striking surface frame comprising a bell portion that forms a central side part of a striking surface, a bow portion that is formed in an annular shape surrounding the bell portion and forms an outer peripheral side part of the striking surface, and a connecting portion that is made of an elastic body and connecting an inner edge side part of the bow portion to the bell portion, the mounting method comprising:
- connecting a sensor frame along a circumferential direction to a lower surface of the bell portion or the bow portion of the striking surface frame;
- and
- mounting the sensor that detects vibration of the sensor frame to the sensor frame.
