Abstract
An electronic payment terminal including a display screen, an outer casing provided with an opening capable of generating electrostatic discharges in the direction of the screen, and a support for the screen with a housing for receiving the screen. The housing includes a discharge plate disposed between the screen and the opening. The discharge plate is configured to intercept an electrostatic discharge occurring between the opening and the screen.

An electronic payment terminal comprising:
- a display screen,
- an outer casing provided with an opening capable of generating electrostatic discharges towards the screen, and
- a support for the screen comprising a housing for receiving the screen,
- wherein that the housing comprises a discharge plate disposed between the screen and the opening, the discharge plate being configured to intercept an electrostatic discharge generated by the opening and which would pass through the screen in the absence of the discharge plate.
