Abstract
A computing device, a computer program product, and a computer-implemented method for enabling a user to conduct an active ATM session by proxy via an authenticated mobile device.
Claims20
An automated teller machine (ATM), comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- a non-transitory memory coupled to the one or more processors, the non-transitory memory including a set of instructions of computer-executable program code, which when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations that include:
- initiating an active ATM session with an authenticated mobile device at a geographic location of the ATM,
- verifying the authenticated mobile device is at the geographic location of the ATM by detecting a current geographic location of the authenticated mobile device, and
- establishing an electronic link with the authenticated mobile device to facilitate conducting the active ATM session by proxy via the authenticated mobile device.
A computer program product comprising at least one non-transitory computer readable medium having with a set of instructions of computer-executable program code, which when executed by one or more processors of an automated teller machine (ATM), cause the one or more processors to perform operations that include:
- initiating an active ATM session with an authenticated mobile device at a geographic location of the ATM;
- verifying the authenticated mobile device is at the geographic location of the ATM by detecting a current geographic location of the authenticated mobile device;
- and
- establishing an electronic link with the authenticated mobile device to facilitate conducting the active ATM session by proxy via the authenticated mobile device.
A computer-implemented method for implementation by one or more processors of an automated teller machine (ATM), the computer-implemented method comprising:
- initiating an active ATM session with an authenticated mobile device at a geographic location of the ATM;
- verifying the authenticated mobile device is at the geographic location of the ATM by detecting a current geographic location of the authenticated mobile device;
- and
- establishing an electronic link with the authenticated mobile device to facilitate conducting the active ATM session by proxy via the authenticated mobile device.
