Abstract
A liveness detection apparatus (2000) causes a display apparatus (20) to display a plurality of screens (30). At least one of the plurality of screens (30) has a plurality of regions (32). At least two of the plurality of regions (32) include different indications. The liveness detection apparatus (2000) acquires a plurality of captured images (40). The captured image (40) is generated by capturing an image of a target object (50) with a camera (10) while the screen (30) is displayed. The liveness detection apparatus (2000) determines whether or not the target object (50) is a living body by using the plurality of captured images (40).
Claims12
A liveness detection apparatus comprising:
- at least one memory storing instructions;
- a display apparatus;
- a camera;
- and
- at least one processor that is configured to execute the instructions to:
- cause the display apparatus to display a first guide, a second guide, and a third guide, the first guide being configured to prompt a target, which is captured by the camera, to maintain a state in which a line of sight of the target is directed toward the liveness detection apparatus, the second guide being configured to prompt the target to maintain a direction of a face of the target, the third guide being configured to prompt the target to move the liveness detection apparatus;
- compute a difference between a line-of-sight direction of the target and a face direction of the target by using a captured image generated by the camera by capturing the target that follows the first guide, the second guide and the third guide;
- and
- determine whether or not the target is a living body based on the computed difference.
A method, performed by a computer, comprising:
- causing a display apparatus provided in a terminal to display a first guide, a second guide, and a third guide, the first guide being configured to prompt a target, which is captured by a camera provided in the terminal, to maintain a state in which a line of sight of the target is directed toward the terminal, the second guide being configured to prompt the target to maintain a direction of a face of the target, the third guide being configured to prompt the target to move the terminal;
- compute a difference between a line-of-sight direction of the target and a face direction of the target by using a captured image generated by the camera by capturing the target that follows the first guide, the second guide and the third guide;
- and
- determine whether or not the target is a living body based on the computed difference.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program that causes a computer to execute:
- causing a display apparatus provided in a terminal to display a first guide, a second guide, and a third guide, the first guide being configured to prompt a target, which is captured by a camera provided in the terminal, to maintain a state in which a line of sight of the target is directed toward the terminal, the second guide being configured to prompt the target to maintain a direction of a face of the target, the third guide being configured to prompt the target to move the terminal;
- compute a difference between a line-of-sight direction of the target and a face direction of the target by using a captured image generated by the camera by capturing the target that follows the first guide, the second guide and the third guide;
- and
- determine whether or not the target is a living body based on the computed difference.
