A method for controlling an information processing apparatus, the method comprising:

• providing an interaction using generative AI to a customer of an apparatus providing a service;
• inputting at least one item of information among an interaction history of interactions with the customer, customer information, and product information to the generative AI and causing the generative AI to determine whether a current time is an appropriate time to attempt a sale of a product;
• and
• responding to the interaction and proposing the sale of the product in a case where the generative AI determines that the current time is an appropriate time to attempt the sale of the product.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a computer program for causing a computer to execute each step of a method for controlling an information processing apparatus, the method comprising:

• providing an interaction using generative AI to a customer of an apparatus providing a service;
• inputting at least one item of information among an interaction history of interactions with the customer, customer information, and product information to the generative AI and causing the generative AI to determine whether a current time is an appropriate time to attempt a sale of a product;
• and
• responding to the interaction and proposing the sale of the product in a case where the generative AI determines that the current time is an appropriate time to attempt the sale of the product.
