Abstract
In a mobile device including an image capturing device having an imaging element (CCD), and an illumination element, capturing an image of a hologram and sending the image of the hologram to a server for authenticating the image and authorizing a transaction.
Claims20
A system, comprising:
- a database;
- a server comprising a microprocessor, wherein the server includes a set of instructions that are served to a client, wherein the server is coupled to the database, wherein the database comprising a first data, wherein the first data comprises information used to authenticate a device and at least one of a user or an authorization, wherein the set of instructions cause the client to capture a first copy of a transaction data comprising a first copy of a transaction identifier from a remote computer, and transmit each of a second data comprising information used to perform an analysis relative to the device, at least one of the user or the authentication, and, a second copy of the transaction data, to the server, wherein the server determines a correspondence between
- the second copy of the transaction data the first copy of the transaction data, and
- the first data and the second data,
- wherein the server transmits a subset of the transaction data to the client, wherein the client transmits at least one of a first response, command, or instruction relating to the subset of the transaction data to the server,
- wherein upon receipt of the at least one of a response, command, or instruction relating to the subset of the transaction data, the server determines whether the at least one of the first response, command or instruction corresponds to at least one of a second response, command, or instruction stored at the server or the database, or does not correspond to at least one of the second response, command, or instruction stored at the server or the database, and
- wherein upon a determination that the at least one of the first response, command, or instruction corresponds to the at least one of the second response, command, or instruction stored at the server or the database, the server transmits at least one of a flag, command or instruction to the remote computing device.

A method, comprising:
- generating by a server or receiving by a server from a remote computing device a first copy of a transaction data;
- receiving by the server a second copy of the transaction data, a first copy of a device data and a first copy of a user data from a client, wherein the client receiving the second copy of the transaction data from the remote computing device, and wherein the remote computing device either receiving the second copy of the transaction data from the server or generating the second copy of the transaction data;
- determining via the server a correspondence between each of the second copy of the transaction data and the first copy of the transaction data, the first copy of the user data and a second copy of the user data retrieved by the server from a database, and the first copy of the device data and a second copy of the device data retrieved by the processor from the database;
- upon a determination of a correspondence between each of the second copy of the transaction data and the first copy of the transaction data, the first copy of the user data and the second copy of the user data, and the first copy of the device data and the second copy of the device data, transmitting via the server a subset of the transaction data to the client;
- receiving at the server, from the client, at least one of a first response, command or instruction relating to the subset of the transaction data;
- determining via the server whether the at least one of the first response, command or instruction corresponds to at least one of a second response, command, or instruction stored at the server or the database, or does not correspond to at least one of the second response, command, or instruction stored at the server or the database;
- upon a determination that the at least one of the first response, command or instruction corresponds to the at least one of the second response, command, or instruction stored at the server or the database, the server transmits at least one of a flag, command or instruction to the remote computing device.
