Display apparatus and screen mirroring playback resuming method

A display apparatus, comprising:

• a display, configured to display a casting interface for a cast screen;
• a user input interface, configured to receive commands from a user;
• a communication device, configured to establish a casting connection with a terminal device;
• a memory, configured to store computer instructions and data associated with the display apparatus;
• at least one processor, connected with the display, the user input interface, the communication device and the memory, and configured to execute the computer instructions to cause the display apparatus to perform:
• in response to a resume playback command for playing a cast screen exited last time, obtaining playback resumption information of the cast screen from the memory;
• wherein the playback resumption information is information recorded when a playback of the cast screen was exited last time, and the playback resumption information comprises a casting protocol type, a media asset playback address, media asset playback progress at a time the cast screen was exited last time, and playback effect information set for the cast screen by the user;
• creating a virtual session based on the playback resumption information;
• wherein the virtual session is configured to, on behalf of the terminal device that established a casting connection for the cast screen that was exited last time, establish a virtual casting connection with the display apparatus according to the casting protocol type;
• obtaining casting data from the media asset playback address through the virtual session without re-establishing a physical casting connection with the terminal device;
• determining a playback start time for the casting data according to the media asset playback progress, and playing the casting data on the display from the playback start time based on the playback effect information.
