Graphical element modification

A system, the system comprising:

• a processor;
• a memory device that stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the system to:
• identify, using a graphical element modification system, a graphical element displaying state change information that is to be presented as an overlay on a display device;
• identify, using the graphical element modification system, a feature of content displayed on the display device, wherein the feature affects a visibility of the graphical element;
• adjust, using the graphical element modification system, a characteristic of the graphical element in view of the feature;
• and
• transmit, using the graphical element modification system, instructions to display the graphical element having the adjusted characteristic.

A product, the product comprising:

• a computer-readable storage device that stores executable code that, when executed by a processor, causes the product to:
• identify, using a graphical element modification system, a graphical element displaying state change information that is to be presented as an overlay on a display device;
• identify, using the graphical element modification system, a feature of content displayed on the display device, wherein the feature affects a visibility of the graphical element;
• adjust, using the graphical element modification system, a characteristic of the graphical element in view of the feature;
• and
• transmit, using the graphical element modification system, instructions to display the graphical element having the adjusted characteristic.
